Day 9
Today was a regular schooling day. At 9am. The weather for now is getting better. As in it wasn’t as cold as compared to previous days. However at times, it seems to be like in Singapore, where the sun just loves heating us up like roasted pig or something. Had a great breakfast (or rather to me, it was). One of my favourite stuff ever in the world. Chocolate =D!!
However school ended early today at 12pm. We went over for lunch as usual. I ate a lot, doesn’t know the right reason to do so, but somehow I have that kind of sudden craving for something sweet, like i would called it I need some “sweetness” in my life. Suddenly during lunch, i started to crave for Singapore sweetness like ice kachang, green bean soup and more. However that sweetness of mine was cured by yet again my favourite of CHOCOLATE ice-cream. Nice woo =D.
Had briefing over at the library for an hour and we finally gotten our new Dalian Library cards with my Chinese name on it. Headed over for Gems, the good thing about living in a hostel is that, one gets to go everywhere so near and convenience. Imagine having to have a good 10mins walk (at most ) to your class room, of not forgetting to bring anything, i mean if it does, one could simply walked back as its super near, or that one gets to sleep longer and not having to squeeze in to the daily crowed MRT or bus. Overall it has been a nice experience. More to come perhaps =D.
Gems was about Chinese culture. It was taught in English, however at times, it gets a little off here and there, for some reasons or so. Today the “sickness” came over, not home-sicked or what but simply put it that way of not feeling very well. Maybe its the weather, from a really cold (less to 10) to a really Singapore-like weather. What would you feel?
Had dinner (fried rice). For one thing for sure, Dalian’s food has super big servings, oily and more salty as compared to Singapore. Is that counted as good or bad? You decide. Projecting continues, where its about doing up a student lounge which could be transformative to be an exhibition space. For one thing for sure. My sleepy head at this time of moment wouldn’t be helping me in thinking of anything but sleep. I suddenly become a really clean freak in the hostel’s room. As compared to my room in Singapore. This outlook of place overtakes the Singapore that much
